As a mom I remember how quickly this season passes and how overwhelming it can feel while you’re in it. The brain fog from sleeplessness nights can make the idea of doing a photo session impossible. But you don’t need to perform, or make your baby behave. I’ll meet you where you are and help you remember this season exactly as it felt. I'll guide you through a photo session that feels safe and unrushed.

You're not alone in feeling overwhelmed, or unsure. And you don't need to have everything figured out. I've created a process that feels calm and honest without adding pressure.
Before your session, I'll walk you through what to expect. From what to wear to how to prepare your home without cleaning, everything is designed to feel manageable and realistic.
During your session, I'll gently guide you into natural moments, taking breaks for feedings, diaper changes or whatever is needed.
Your final images will reflect the connection, personality, and emotion of this season.

Safety is my #1 priority. Any positions your baby is placed in are natural. If your baby shows any signs of being uncomfortable then we stop because we aren't risking anything.
Safety is key
This means the baby gets what the baby wants. If they want to eat they get to eat, if they want to be held, their held. That even means if they need to be held the whole session that's great!

Why I Love Photographing Newborns in Phoenix
I grew up in the Phoenix area, Scottsdale specifically. I moved back to Phoenix prior to having my kids and it's been such a blessing having my babies here. And as a mom who's had 2 newborns and a newborn photographer in Phoenix, finding a community of resources that support new parents has been crucial to my own parenting journey. Because I remember that having a newborn comes with so much change, pressure and is a season of life that is such a blur. And when you're managing a newborn in the heat of a Phoenix summer you need all the support you can find.
